These years the particle board industry has been very stable in China. The assets of the manufacturers are increasing steadily. The numbers of the factories keep the same. Profits ratio are increasing. As the real estate slowing down in China the particle board sales are not increasing as fast as 10 years ago. All manufacturers are trying to upgrade the equipments and market with a brand to meet with the needs of customers.

Until the end of 2013, totally 162 particle board and mdf lines are demolished with the capacity of 5 million cubic meters. In 2013 there are 55 new particleboard and mdf line installed with 6.87 million cubic meters capacity. 34 of them are continous pressing line with 5.27 million cubic meters producing capacity, with the percentage of 77%. This is a new high in Chinese wood based panels industry.

These new machines are going to run before the end of 2014 and definitely with shed light on the industry. The products quality of particle board manufacturers will be much better after that, according to China Forest Products Industry Association.
