In architecture, a mezzanine or entresol is an intermediate floor between main floors of a building, and therefore not counted in the total floors of a building. Most times, a mezzanine has a low ceiling and projects in the form of a balcony. The term is also used for the lowest balcony in a theatre, or for the first few rows of seats in that balcony.

The term mezzanine comes from the Italian word mezzano, meaning “middle”.

As the main supplier of light weight chipboard in China, we are now producing chipboard for mezzanine with the dimension of 1220×2440/915×2135 x38mm/35mm/44mm/54mm ect. Density is 520 – 900 kgs/m3 and can load lots of weights as the floor of mezzanine.
