Traditional flooring are made of solid timber or engineered wood. They are good but there are some setbacks. For example, their plank sizes are not very stable. For laminated flooring the formaldehyde emission may be too high for consumers.

New Generation Vinyl Flooring and SPC Flooring

Vinyl flooring contains no MDF or other wood material. It is mainly made with PVC and fibreglass. The SPC flooring, however, is made of PVC and stone calcium. In Australia SPC has another name called hybrid flooring. It is the same thing. Our company has a factory producing luxury vinyl tiles (LVT).

SPC Flooring Advantages

Combing the vinyl pvc with calcium powder, we can get a vinyl flooring with rigid core. This is where it gets its name, Stone PVC Composite.

There are a lot of reasons. The rigid core hybrid flooring has a lot of advantages. Or we can say it overcomes may disadvantages of laminate floor tiles.

Where vinyl flooring is used?

We can see a lot of LVT floor tiles in public spaces such as shopping mall, office, hotel rooms, etc. The color can be wood grain or marble stone. They just look the same with hardwood timber floor.

SPC flooring is waterproof and can be installed without glue. These features allow it to be used as bathroom floor tiles. No other flooring can do that except ceramic tiles.
